The golf course was opened in 1981. Situated in one of the most beautiful village in Alicante, Jávea, on the way to Valencia, and protected from the wind by the Cabo de San Antonio, it has a perfect weather all year long, and is located in a wonderful natural setting, surrounded by a pine forest.
The course is a gently sloping 9-hole course with well-maintained greens and fairways bordered by palm, pine and orange trees. Although it has only 9 holes, in the second round many of the holes are played from different tees, making it an 18-hole course. Also the greens 3/12 and 4/13 are large enough to accommodate two different flag possitions.The more challenged hole it’s the 6th hole, a par 4 with beautiful views, which requires a precise and centred shot to face its dogleg. The 16th is the shortest with 120 metres and the 5th is the longest with 475 metres.Although it is not very long, it is certainly challenging as it is plagued by bunkers nearly all the way round – 34 in total, and all of the greens have subtle runs, many of which are difficult to read.
